Hello everybody! The KBB has been going amazingly well. In addition to being the KBB mod, I had the wonderful chance to work with aelora
on her story, Faith, Trust and Pixie Dust
. It's a wonderful, magical story that totally charmed me in the best ways possible.
For the story, I created one banner, navigation buttons, "snapshot" images, and a page divider.( Read more...Collapse )
If you haven't already, check out her story and all of the other amazing works that have been created at klainebigbang

It’s been decided. On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 6 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months due to homophobic abuse in their homes at at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit. Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality. Please wear purple on October 20th. Tell your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and schools.
RIP Tyler Clementi, Seth Walsh (top)
RIP Justin Aaberg, Raymond Chase (middle)
RIP Asher Brown and Billy Lucas. (bottom)
REBLOG to spread a message of love, unity and peace.
When this summer started, I had no idea what was in store for me. My plan was to save up some money to pay for school, and that was that. As it turns out, this summer has become something I will never, ever forget -- for more than one reason.
The three of us were walking out of the venue in Thackerville, our ear ringing, hearts pounding, sweating, smiling. I distinctly remember thinking in my head, this is it. I said to my friends, "Say bye." And that was the end of GlamNation for me.
But it wasn't the end, you know? The three months that I have spent really submerged in this fandom, (having been just a casual Adam fan before,) are something that I really do appreciate. I've made friends from all over the US, all over the world, and we're all connected by one thing: our love for Adam's music. I don't know if I can describe in words what it's like to be in a room of a thousand or more people, knowing that you're feeling the exact same thing as everybody else in that room is feeling when he steps out onto that stage. It's beautiful.
"The theme of tonight's show is love."
Yeah, I'm still suffering from GlamNation withdrawals, and maybe I'm a little (extremely) bummed that I'm not going to see him live until his next tour, but that's okay. I can wait, and I can live vicariously through those excited fans in Europe who get to see him next. This is what being an Adam fan has taught me: all we need in this world is some love, so spread the love.
"It doesn't mean anything unless you're connected with love."
Fandom wars suck. SRSLY???Don't you think it's time to stop hating,
and start embracing the potential flail?
, your sanctuary for Adam Lambert, Tokio Hotel, and all the pretty in between.
Because we're tired of stan wars, too. (And we totally ship it.)
